Women are living their lives one moment, and the next, BAM! Everything changes. The first reaction is confusion, followed by the five stages of grief. Finally, the existential question: Is that all there is? Am I to fade away now?
The answer is an emphatic no. But we must plan for the future. That's why I made it my mission to help women embrace menopause and midlife confidently and authentically.
Women stay too busy to worry about menopause. As a C-suite executive, I was unprepared for its impact on my personal and professional life. Moreover, I wasn't the only one entirely caught off guard.
Midlife brings up specific women's challenges, which we must plan to thrive through.
We have seen family members, friends, and coworkers muddle through midlife. Because they did not plan, they were left reacting to emerging stressors ad hoc.
No one prepares us for menopause and its midlife manifestations. We have lost that generational compact. Our model bridges this gap.
Traditionally, healthcare has viewed menopause as a dichotomy: 1) the clinical factors and 2) the social determinants of health that affect those factors.
Working closely with researchers and advocacy groups has taught us to combine both for the best results. That's why our platform balances those needs.
